User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:48.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/48.0 Build ID: 20160817112116 Steps to reproduce: As an example please use https://rabb.it/YOUR_USERNAME and open the chatbox using the button in the bottom right corner (this can also be reproduced in other websites, but we have been testing with that one). I don't know how to create an example for this from the ground up. You will need two people. Add lines to the chatbox until it fills up (the website is removing text bubbles from the top of the contents of the box). Ask the other person to add some more lines of text. Actual results: The chatbox won't automatically scroll to the bottom properly when the other person adds text to it. Note: Whether addons are present or not does not affect the reproducbility of the issue (tested with safe mode). Zoom is default (100%). Expected results: Automatic scroll should have worked properly (try with a different web browser).

I cannot reproduce this issue with Firefox 48 or 50 on OS X.
Did you have another person helping you? Alternatively, try sending multiple line chat bubbles after filling the chatbox on rabb.it (reproduction steps may vary for other websites).
I tried rabb.it, and I opened two browsers to test.
I reproduce it on Mac OS X 10.10 on FF Nightly 50.0a1(2016-08-22). In my case I used Firefox and Chrome to simulate the conversation.
