LogModule can be dynamically created so it wouldn't be hard to create a jsm wrapper. I'm not sure how to get the filename and line number in js yet.

Core: General seems like an appropriate component for this bug.

Does not apply. This is a bug about implementing a new internal API.

This bug in particular does not benefit from this questionnaire.  Kan-Ru is an experienced developer and knows where and how to file useful bugs that don't need to be triaged.

Thanks, Emma. This bug is something I'd like to do myself or mentor anyone to do it. I think the right way to help this move forward is put it into volunteers radar. I added the Mentors field to reflect that.

Hey Kan-Ru, are you still willing to mentor a contributor through this bug? I am currently looking for a bug to work on and this looks interesting, however I would appreciate some info about where in Mozilla Central this issue can be found, so that I can begin to familiarise myself with that part of the code-base and start thinking about a potential solution.

Any info/guidance you have about how to potentially solve this bug would also be appreciated :)

Clear a needinfo that is pending on an inactive user.

Inactive users most likely will not respond; if the missing information is essential and cannot be collected another way, the bug maybe should be closed as INCOMPLETE.
