Error crash in PContent Child::Read from gfx Platform::Fetch And Import Content Device Data()
This bug was filed from the Socorro interface and is report bp-8ab345d1-e85f-47c3-b793-e127e2160823. ============================================================= Counted 73 crashes after 8/22, this signature spiked recently. Looks like regression from bug 1294988 that landed on that day. But the crash started from build 20160801074053 so maybe it's old but but bug 1294988 makes it worse. https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/signature/?product=Firefox&release_channel=nightly&platform=Windows&date=%3E%3D2016-01-01&proto_signature=~SendGetGraphicsDeviceInitData&signature=mozalloc_abort%20%7C%20NS_DebugBreak%20%7C%20mozilla%3A%3Aipc%3A%3AFatalError%20%7C%20mozilla%3A%3Adom%3A%3APContentChild%3A%3ARead#aggregations

I don't see any crashes after 8/30, and none after build 20160822030424. I don't know what could cause these crashes other than a corrupted ipdl stream or maybe some uninitialized enum values in DevicePrefs. But seeing as the crash stopped occurring, I'm reticent to land instrumentation just yet.
Marcia can you confirm that this isn't showing up any more and we can close this WFM?
There are still some scattered crashes in this signature, but they are small enough volume as to not track any further. Closing as WFM.
