Thanks for your interest in making it easier for people to configure Thunderbird! This domain seems to be hosted by office365.com but with a DNS MX collision. I'm duping to our bug 1185366 on that and will try and do some quick advocacy to see if Thunderbird will improve their MX lookup cascade, but for the time being, the best/only solution is to self-host an entry at autoconfig.uncw.edu as described at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Thunderbird/Autoconfiguration#Configuration_server_at_ISP
