VCS doesn't like to check these files into the tree. It may be a non-issue now that I've added them, but it's still a potential foot-gun going forward.

Oh actually I think Simon is the maintainer of the fnv crate on crates.io (https://crates.io/crates/fnv). Simon could you republish without the temporary files?
