From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.8) Gecko/20020205 BuildID: 2002020511 If I have two userids that I use on the same site, as of 0.9.8 I now get double the number of actual accounts appearing in the Select User dialog, with account names repeated. (I have one for posting/moderating and another for just posting -- n.b. I'm not malicious about it, I just disagree with the restriction about being not able to post/discuss the same thread.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to the above URL and create an account. Create another account. (Note you will need a second e-mail address to do this.) 2. Use the "log out" link anywhere on the site. 3. Log back in. Actual Results: You'll see the "Select User" dialog with duplicated accounts. Expected Results: Just see two accounts with no duplication on the "Select User" dialog.
If you create a third account, do you see 9 options? It sounds like we may be listing all possible user/password combos....
Er, no, no it doesn't. Weird. I get five instead.
Rob McMillin: can you still reproduce this with a recent Mozilla version (like 1.0RC3)? If not, mark this bug "worksforme"
Haven't been able to reproduce on 1.0RC3 or 1.0. There are other problems with the password stuff, but this one I can't seem to replicate. I'm changing this to WFM.
