1300128 - DevTools notification box UX differs from platform

In new RDM, we have a situation where we might display a message using either the tab's XUL notification box or the toolbox's HTML notification box depending on how you tried to open RDM.

Over in bug 1274032 comment 21, QA noticed that the XUL and HTML notification boxes have several UX differences:

1. hovering over the close button 'x' has not the same result on both error
bars;
2. on Mac and Ubuntu OS's, the the 'x' icon displayed in front of the error
message is not the same on both error notification bars;
3. the close buttons 'x' are not the same on both error notification bars;
4. on Mac OS, the text from notification error bars doesn't have the same
format.

Most of these seem like simple CSS changes to resolve.  If we don't care about matching the styling of the XUL notification box, feel free to WONTFIX.
