User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.11; rv:51.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/51.0 SeaMonkey/2.48a1 Build ID: 20160902003001 Steps to reproduce: New trunk build finally updated on september 2, doesn't detect however new updates. When I check for new updates in Help menu, SeaMonkey doesn't signal nothing. But new updates are visible in the directory http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/seamonkey/nightly/latest-comm-central-trunk

THis bug is still alive in latest build trunk. Any news by developpers?

ewong is switching the distribution system for SeaMonkey 2.48b1 to the current one used by Mozilla. Until this is resolved I fear nothing can be done. There were other reports which indicated that the distribution channel is not set correctly in Aurora and Nightly builds. The current progress for the Beta is tracked in Bug 1336310.

(In reply to Rocco Stilo from comment #3) > THis bug is still alive in latest build trunk. Any news by developpers? I am not entirely sure where the problem lies yet as I only just noticed this bug and as I'm not an OSX user, I'll need to get some help to confirm this bug. that said, I'll take a peek at the update server and see if there are some missing items.

From comment #0, Rocco, you have OSX 10.11, right? Looking up the Darwin version, that's Darwin 15.0.0, right?

Nope. I'm on latest MacOS Sierra 10.12.3, and on the latest SeaMonkey trunk. This bug is quite old (over one year), but until now I never have seen a fix for it.
