Steps to reproduce:
I'm dragging an Email from Thunderbird to an Java JTextArea Component.
Actual results:
Thunderbird and the Java Application are hanging.
Expected results:
Showing the content of the eml File in the JTextArea

Where can I find a JTextArea to try this?
I've just tried to drag an e-mail to Notepad++ and that surprisingly works. It doesn't work in LibreOffice or Notepad.
Without looking into it further, I believe that dragging an e-mail from TB also carries a "file flavour", to that's why Notepad++ is happy to receive it.
What happens when you drop is beyond the control of TB and as you can see, the results can be mixed. TB shouldn't hang, though.
