From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020305 BuildID: 2002030508 while browing and surfing the net (doing nothing irregular), i came across a voting site, i wanted to vote at. so i did, and after voting i wanted to go back, so i pushed the 'back' button. the window vanished. this was very annoying, since i still had pages on other tabs, i wanted to read. but i first thought, this was something like JavaScript:window.close - and wanted to open another window. but when my cursor hit the systray-icon, it vanished as well. a clear indicator, that mozilla had crashed. but this never happened to me without the talkback (and winXP) showing up their 'oooooooh, we're so sorry, but your program has crashed'-windows. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. visit URL (http://www.geocities.com/demigodsofmetal/) 2. scroll down to the voting boxes; in the first box, check "Edguy" 3. submit vote by clicking "Submit Vote" underneath "Edguy" 4. let the window load, than click browser's "back"-button Actual Results: mozilla crashes without fireing up talkback Expected Results: no crash, expected behavior tested 3 times in a row with the mentioned build, it was always reproducable. i'll file this 'UNCONFIRMED', since i tested only this build - i'll check out a newer one and encourage you to test it, too.
i could only reproduce this with build id 2002030508. i just tested 2002031103 and this one does not crash anymore. marking WORKSFORME for now. will have an eye on the behavior of forthcoming builds.
