I'd need access to the stage server for local Socorro development.

According to njn, who already went through these steps, I need to give you a SSH public key and you need to give me a set of passwords for the software running on the stage server.

Can I use a ED25519 key for SSH?
Lonnen, are you OK with helping Marco, like we're doing with Njn?

I'm +1 on helping him get a dev environment going. That probably means setting him up stage right now. We may want to revive the local environment tooling if we get many more of these.

We spend too little time on dev onboarding. Clearly. And the reason is ROI economics for the team.
Perhaps Nicholas can help us here. Ideally, if Nicholas has an amazing documentation story they only thing we'd need is to dump secrets on a new (Mozilla staff) developer. Annoyingly, secrets need to go into so many different places. I do have as a goal to completely do away with the whole of the middleware later this year.
I have already given Marco my (still incomplete) instructions on how to do this. This bug is him doing the "get the necessary passwords" part of those instructions.
I now have crash-stats working locally, which is great. So the only thing needed now is for Marco to give JP his SSH key and for JP to put it on the AWS machine. I will ask Marco to email it to JP.
I've updated the keys there for Marco, shall we close this out?
Yes, thanks!
