build 20020310 When I draft a message, then click "Send" in the compose window, nothing happens. I was previously having problems with sending and receiving mail due to a recently added feature to use SOCKS proxies for mail, however this seemed to be fixed in previous build about the time of the 0.9.9 branch (I think mail was working for me in 20020304 after breaking in about 20020226). It seems there's another problem that's come up, as this is displaying different symptoms (no error message encountered this time, and changing from auto proxy config to manual proxy config doesn't fix it). Unsure which component is suitable -- guessing...
Wouldn't you know it? I restarted, and now it works fine with manual or auto proxy.

Neil, Stephen: bug 130146 is very directly connected to this bug, was reported just as the next step of problems it produced. I think it might make sense to give bug 130146 the same treatment as this one here (or vice versa, but just don't handle them differently)...
