I've confirmed via mozregression that this is a regression from bug 1288760 (the final patches that landed, not the initial band-aid for Fx50). Same monitor config as that bug. Not sure if XUL Widgets is the right component for this or not, feel free to move where appropriate.

If I drag a tab over to my secondary monitor, middle-clicking anywhere within that viewport puts the autoscroll indicator on the right edge of the screen instead of under the click location.

The second set of patches in bug 1288760 have just been backed out from inbound (and will be uplifted to FF51), which should fix this IIUC. Could you confirm the problem is gone, once a new Nightly is out?

Re-landing those patches (or something similar) with fixes for the resulting regressions is now bug 1306309.

Hi :jfkthame,
Per comment #1, it's fixed by backout. Will you uplift this to 51 aurora?

The relevant backout was landed in bug 1300421, which has already been uplifted a couple of days ago; updating status-fx51 to fixed.
