This is mostly a problem when using the Browser Toolbox, because in that case you can easily have a huge list of docshells (at least I think that's the right term?) to scroll through, and just those tiny triangles that scroll maybe one item at a time to do it with.

A more normal dropdown, like the one used for <select> elements, would be a bit better; ideally there would also be some kind of substring-based search/filtering.

(Of course, the old DOM Inspector has the exact same problem, though it at least splits things up into content and chrome and, and it also has the excuse that it's actually using the menu as part of its menu system, where menus are expected.)
