dimming affect has weird persistence across page loads
STR: 1. Search on the current page. 2. Load a new page in the url bar. 3. The dimming goes away on the new page but then comes back.
This happens with the back button too.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 Build ID: 20160925030226 Reproduced the initial issue (and the one from the duplicate bug 1302558) using Nightly 51.0a1 (Build ID: 20160911030419) on Windows 10. Verified fixed using the the latest Nightly 52.0a1 (Build ID: 20160925030226) on Windows 10, Ubuntu 16.04 and Mac OS X 10.11. I can confirm that Bug 1302558 is also fixed.
