The easiest way to test nightlies in TaskCluster alongside regular nightlies will be to setup a project branch. This will allow us to use a unique update channel, and will prevent churn on the tip of m-c from breaking us unexpectedly while we test. We could setup a new project branch, but looking at https://wiki.mozilla.org/ReleaseEngineering/DisposableProjectRepositories reveals that we might have a few existing branches that could serve: date - already in use by releng jamun - already in use by releng cedar - unused since May pine - loaned for b2g work...is this still required? I'm not above creating a new branch, but re-purposing one of these may be faster. Anyone have a preference?
