I see this problem on https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer.html but not other Flash sites. See the attached screenshot.

I have a HiDPI Windows laptop with window.devicePixelRatio = 2. I don't see this problem on my MacBook Pro (with a HiDPI Retina display).

I'm running Flash 23.0.0.162 on Windows 10 Anniversary Update from Microsoft's Windows Insider "Slow Ring" channel.

Which build/nightly was this with? https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=820831 landed 3 days ago and is very related.

Before I set a priority, I'd like to understand whether it's a regression from that bug and whether Adobe expects this. Might be also good to get a QA pass on various Flash to see how HighDPI is affecting things.

I don't think this is a regression from bug 820831. I see this bug in today's Nightly 51.0a1 (2016-09-13), but also in Firefox 48 release. FWIW I am not able to reproduce bug 820831 even in Firefox 48.

The work I did to finish bug 820831 required a specially built flash plugin from adobe for testing, that took content scaling into account. I don't believe they've released a public beta with that feature yet.

Mac already had content scaling enabled on both the firefox and adobe flash sides, which is why it works there.

Kyle, if you needed a special build of Flash from Adobe to tet your content scaling fix, does that mean this is a Flash bug?

It's a flash problem. With the private build I have of 23.0.0.46, scaling works fine for the sites listed above. Using 23.0.0.185 downloaded from the flash website, I see the errors listed. So, we're stuck waiting for adobe to release the plugin update.
