Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:0.9.9) Gecko/20020311
BuildID: 2002031106

I switched from Mail-News to another app (The Finder in this case) and was
unpleasently surprised that the Mozilla mail window still has the full keyboard
focus and I thus couldnt type anything anywhere. :(((

The Problem is that I cant safely reproduce this bug, it only appears cassually. :(

p.s.: This Bug may also appear in other components of Mozilla, I couldnt pin it
down to something special. :((

p.p.s.: When I hit command-Q while this Bug is happening it just closes Mozilla
(whitout comming to the foreground again) and everything is back to normal. This
happened 4 times out of accident now and starts to bore me a little bit... ;-)

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Work some time in Mozilla
2. Open the Mail-News Window
3. Switch to another program (e.g.: Finder)
4. Try to type something or give shortcuts to the programm.

Actual Results: Whatever I entered affected Mozilla instead the Programm that
was in the Foreground. Command-Q for example quitted Mozilla instead of the
foreground Programmm.

Expected Results: I should be able to use my keyboard within other apps too
while Mozilla is in the Background! :))

This looks very much like a dupe of bug 108653. Haven't got a Mac9 system to
test this theory on, so will leave to someone to actually mark as dupe. (Also
see bug 114049)
I looked into it, but cant really agree, that this is a duplicate. On the one
hand you are right. It certainly is the same thing, I too have the problem
that I switch to another application and have the problem. But the problem does
not seem to be tied to mozilla and bbedit. :(

What do you think here? Would it be best to mark this as a dup and add these
comments to the other bug, or would it be better to have this a seperate one?

thx alot!

might be a dupe of bug #112258

reporter, do you use any of :
-- Quit CSM
-- DragThing 4.x
with "Hide front Application before Switch" turned on???

Also, bug #112258 is _not_ exclusively limited to Mozilla & BBEdit 6.5
It's also seen when switching directly to other applications:
-- Mail Watcher 2.x
-- Internet Explorer
WorksForMe using Mac/2002072203.
Probably a dup.
