Talos has detected a Firefox performance regression from push 472858f465b0. As author of one of the patches included in that push, we need your help to address this regression.

  8%  tps summary osx-10-10 opt        64.34 -> 69.79
  6%  tps summary windows8-64 opt      63.34 -> 66.96
  6%  tps summary windows7-32 opt      75.67 -> 79.87
  5%  tps summary linux64 opt          59.24 -> 62.38
  2%  tps summary linux64 opt e10s     43.22 -> 44.29

:neil, can you take a look at this as your are the patch author?  We are most concerned with figuring out why this happened and then deciding if we should fix it or not.  If you need help reproducing or understanding data locally or on try, please ask!
