Seen while running Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:51.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/51.0 ID:20160916030204 CSet: edfff7a9e4c43f6d516dfbf69a64e205e5cdb699

STR:

1. Load the main Gmail page
2. Observe the attached screenshot.

One the same machine, this search box looks fine on Dev Edition and latest Firefox beta. 
I do not see this on my 10.11 machine running the same build.
ni on Andrei to see if they can reproduce on their 10.12 machines.

I forgot to add that the bug reproduces even with a solid theme.

So it appears the dashes are actually inside the box on 10.11 when I place my cursor there(when this was filed I was one nightly behind), and on 10.12 the dashes show below the Gmail Search all the time.

Bug 1303434 has a bit more information and less OS X version confusion, so I'm duping this one.

Oh, I noticed those dashes around the search box, too, but I assumed it was some weird front end change around text editing. I guess not.
Mark 51 fixed as bug 1303434 was fixed.
