A few questions:
1. What are the display conditions for this new page? Assuming en-US only (as there is English copy in the image) and URL of /firefox/50.0/firstrun/. Should this page be limited to 50.0, or will it live on beyond (50.0.1, 51.0, etc)? Do we serve to all users, or only a percentage? Do we need to check for a funnelcake here as we did with the current /learnmore page [1]?
2. If the conditions from #1 above are not met, what content should be displayed? Assuming current/existing /firstrun page [2].
3. Should the image still "pulse" on page load as it does on the current /learnmore page?
4. How close do we need to follow the attached mockup? For example, on the current /learnmore page, the Firefox logo is offset left, whereas in the mockup it's centered. The current /learnmore page has a disclaimer with link underneath the browser image ("Yahoo is one of Mozilla’s search partners. Learn more."), but the mockup does not.
5. The current /learnmore page has a "Try it now" button that places a search term in the search box when clicked, but this is not in the mockup. Do we need to include the button (and related functionality)?
6. The browser image provided in the attached PSD mockup is standard resolution only. The current /learnmore page has a high res image for high res screens. Can we get a high res version?

Ah, sorry, I see from comment 0 that this will be a funnelcake. Do we know the funnelcake number? If not, when can we expect it to be provided?

49. We will have a funnelcake. Filing bugs for that later today.

Whatever we currently display.

It doesn't have to. Whatever is easier for you.

Good flag. Thank you.
- Center logo
- Keep the disclaimer
- Update sub-header to read "Yahoo Search brings you relevant results with high quality images and video for a more visual search experience."

Remove button and related functionality

The only file I have is the PSD but we should ensure this is high res. Do we need to recreate?

Winston - mham was able to increase resolution. Can you please take a look and let us know if this will suffice - or - supply us with better?

I don't know what our standard is. If it's not crisp it won't work. It looks fine on my screen, but you guys know better than I what the standard should be and how this will look on other machines.

Point taken. We'll assess the overall performance budget of the page (which can/will mostly be attributed to the image).
Please attach the source file, which MHam can then tweak to suit our needs.

Here is the dropbox folder with all of the images: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ipnkpbkfvibcejv/AADSRzPgGPxm8Oq0nlLjd1s_a?dl=0.
I emailed Michael this link already as well.

The WIP page is up on a demo. Note the funnelcake id used here can/will be changed. I just needed something to test with.
https://bedrock-demo-jpetto-ravioli.us-west.moz.works/en-US/firefox/49.0/firstrun/?f=89
The page will be displayed if:
- The proper funnelcake id is in the URL
- The URL has en-US as the locale
- The user is on Firefox 40.0 or greater
Since the funnelcake build will point users to the correct URL, I don't think we need any additional logic (e.g. restricting to Firefox 49.0 and up). Correct me if I'm wrong here and/or we want to more strongly enforce the user restrictions.
Give it a test and let me know if you see anything needing to be updated.
Also, please verify the destination URL for the "Learn more" link underneath the image is still correct. (It was carried over from the /learnmore page.)
Still pending/TODO:
- Update with better quality high-res image for Katie Couric photo (should be in tomorrow)

Clearing needinfo for Winston - I confirmed with JBalaco that the destination URL for the "Learn more" link underneath the image is indeed the correct one to use.
