RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1279842

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0
Build ID: 20160916101415

Steps to reproduce:

I entered read-mode and tested the Firefox's screen reader.

Actual results:

I noticed that it is saying "# 39" several times, so I read the texts on the screen and found out that it is the ' character.

Example, the word "that's" - is read by the screen reader as "that # 39 s (that hashtag thirty nine s)"

Expected results:

It should read the word as it is, with the apostrophe (').

that's = that's
it's = it's.
