Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020312 BuildID: 2002031203 If you begin to type a URL in the address location and then switch tabs, then switch back, the partially entered URL is lost -- it is reset to what was there before you started typing. This isn't a huge problem, but it recently was annoying to me when I had a split up URL in an email message. What I wanted to do is copy the first hunk of the URL from one tab, open a new tab, paste it, go back to the original tab, copy the second hunk of the URL, switch back to the new tab and append the second chunk, etc... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open at least two tabs 2. Type a partial URL in the first tab (e.g. http://www.yahoo) 3. Switch to the second tab, then switch back 4. Notice that the partial URL is lost Actual Results: Partial URL gets lost Expected Results: Partial URL should remain
