I keep hitting a crash when visiting http://k9.github.io/globe-viewer/ in Fennec. After hanging the browser for several seconds the app just quits without any crash report dialog. As of yet I can only reproduce this in Fennec 48 through 52 on my HTC Nexus 9 running Android 7.0. I cannot reproduce this crash on the same device with Chrome, nor does it reproduce in Fennec on Galaxy S7 Edge running Android 6.0.1, nor does it reproduce in Firefox desktop builds. Device: HTC Nexus 9 tablet Android Version: 7.0 w/security updates as of September 9, 2016 Kernel Version: 3.10.101-ga139acc Build Number: NRD90R
Note: I can reproduce this back at least as far as Fennec 35 so if this is a regression it's not recent.
Version: 48 Branch → 35 Branch
I had Roland Tanglao check this on his Nexus 6P running Android 7.0 and it doesn't crash there either. This might be specific to the Nexus 9 tablet.
