Details
Using an IMAP mail account, I always receive the following message when I send
out an email:
Current command did not succeed. The mail server responded: Permission denied.
The mail is actually sent, but Mozilla treats it as if it wasn't. Netscape 4.x
Messenger does not have this problem nor does any other mail client I've tried.
Build:
0.9.9 release; WinXP
Win98 as far back as a year ago (sorry if this is a dup, but i hadn't seen this
reported. i think i also experienced this on NT as well)

Just figured out the problem. The default folder for the Sent folder was "Sent"
instead than "INBOX/Sent," which was why I was getting a permission denied error
when sending mail. I am using IMAP (Sorry for not stating that before).
It did take me quite a while to figure out what was wrong, but Netscape
Messenger 4.9 was able to set the default folders correctly. Mozilla should be
able to do this by default as well. Another possible solution would be to change
the default Sent, Draft, Template folders to be Local Folders instead.
