Created attachment 8794641 [details] [diff] [review] use-alpha-texture-sharing-works-again We used to check this as part of setting up the ImageBridge device, but it went away as part of removing that device (bug 1289640). We should check it again before trying to use alpha texture sharing.

How important is this to fix for 51? Should it be a blocker? (Emailing so that Matt sees my question)
This is waiting for work from bug 1315871 and bug 1213961 and is less of a priority right now but still on Matt's radar.
