Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0
Build ID: 20160922113459
Steps to reproduce:
Click on any downloadable file and follow prompts to save file on hard drive. In the "Enter name of file to save to..." dialog, click on an existing filename (intent is to replace existing file). Firefox should insert the existing filename into the dialog. But it does not.
Actual results:
Dialog is not updated, original filename from URL is retained.
Expected results:
Dialog should update to fill in the name of the clicked-on existing file.

This is a new behavior/bug in MacOS 10.12 Sierra. All applications now suffer this problem -- it is not Firefox specific.

I also had a problem with saving data. I could not save my login and password after registering on the Playamo website https://playamo.org . It helped me to restart my computer and refresh my browser. I don't know if my way of solving the problem will help you. But you can try it.
