People

(Reporter: chrisddd40, Unassigned)

Details

(Keywords: crash)

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0
Build ID: 20160922113459

Steps to reproduce:

I have breakpoint interruptions every 10 min on average. I followed instructions and found crashreports but VERY few bp are listed and when I click on one i get a message that Firefox cannot find it --even when it is not a recent
see copy of the ones I get below
BTW I unchecked use hardware acceleration when available hoping to stop this bp problem which crashes my computer all the time (it did several times on 9/30 and 10/1 not recorded.
Will it fix the problem?

Did I get a fix ? Too early to tell today
All your crashes are about the Flash plugin.

Can you try with protected mode disabled in Flash:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/adobe-flash-protected-mode-firefox

And enentually with HWA disabled in Flash:
https://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/help01.html

Wow thank you for all this info as the crashes were very frustrating and all that stuff is "Chinese" to me. I had deselected Enable Hardware Acceleration yesterday and it seem to do the trick but I also followed the 1st suggestion.
