What did you do ?
	Odd behavior in Thunderbird 45.3.0 installed 29 Sept 2016 , and in 45.4.0 :
	FWIW Installed some release around 17 Oct ( prob 2015 ) and 21 Sept ( prob 2016 ) and I did not check to see which releases.
	After opening the software with my email account details added in a prior release.
	The default Local Folders exists and click on this ( the words ) then click Create a new account -> Email.  Also happens in my email account.

What happened ?
	A dialog pops up with the title “Would you like a new email address?”
	Being offline the dialog repeatedly displays in red “Sorry - we're unable to communicate with our sign-up server. Please check your connection.” and the dialog size keeps growing.
	The button at the bottom of the dialog “I think I’ll configure my account later.” does nothing.
	The button at the bottom of the dialog “Skip this and use my existing email.” does nothing.
	There is no way to close the dialog.  Quit Thunderbird as there is no other choice to get back to Inbox etc.

What should happen ?
	The dialog ( and Thunderbird ) should detect lack of Internet connection ( offline ) and display :
“Sorry - we're unable to communicate with our sign-up server. Please check your connection.” 
once.
There should be a “X” or close button to close the dialog.
Looks a bit like bug 1295069 or bug 1266971.

Yeah but this is account provisioner (getting a mailbox at some provider).

So it seems if there is this error, our buttons are not working?

Nick, after this happens, can you see Tools->error console if there are any errors?

This is what shows in Tools->error console ( repeats each time the msg text appears in the dialog - see screenshot from days ago. )
