Steps to reproduce:

Upgraded to firefox 49.0.


Actual results:

Passwords are no longer stored or filled in. Ubuntu and Windows 10 have the same problem. Either with or without Keepasshttp/passifox.


Expected results:

Passowrds filled in and stored

I've reverted back to earlier versions of Firefox, the problem goes away then.

I had already tried the suggestions from the support site before filing a possible bug. None of them work. I have also tried using a new, blank, profile and logging in under a different user.

When I use passifox (the problem exists with and without passifox) keepasshttp never gets a request from passifox so I assume passifox does not even gets called from Firefox.

The fact that reverting to an earlier firefox version fixes the issue seems significant to me. I've downgraded to firefox 30, which I had on hand easily, so I don't know yet which version breaks exactly. I can check that out for you if you want.

To be sure, do you see your pwd list in the password manager of Firefox (about:preferences#security)?

If not, could you create a fresh profile and copy both files key3.db and logins.json from your current profile folder to this new profile folder. Then check if the pwd list is visible.
