According to bug 1131829, method promiseUtils.resolveOrTimeout() has been removed,
we might need to update MDN as well.

Will, MDN paid staff has very little availability to update any non-Web documentation. As it is a wiki and a matter of adding a note about its removal in Fx 38, do you want to do it?

Since I'm not familiar with the update process for method removal,
you mean adding a removal note is better than removing the content, right?

Finally, I did it ;-) While looking for the right macro to use, I noticed that nobody ever used this before its removal, so there is no point in keeping it.

I plainly removed the information (that is still in the history)
