1308582 - Disabling installed Add-ons does not work properly

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0

Steps to reproduce:

I disabled an Add-on using the "Disable" button in about:addons, then I closed Firefox.


Actual results:

After Firefox restarts, the Add-on is not disabled. The list in about:addons shows it disabled, although it is not.


Expected results:

The Add-on should be frozen until the user decides to reactivate it.

Could you, please, tell us what Add-on were you trying to disable? An URL to that Add-on would be welcomed. Also, can you provide what device and OS are you using?

I was able to reproduce this with AdBlocker Ultimate, Stylish, News Feed Eradicator for Facebook on latest Nightly build (62.0a1 - 2018-06-06) following the steps from description.
Device: Sony Xperia Z5 Premium(Android 6.0.1).

Able to reproduce with uBlock Origin, uMatrix. It takes disabling and re-enabling to actually disable any add-on. Later, re-enabling any disabled add-on doesn't work. Add-on stays disabled. 
I have disabled uBlock Origin and now can't enable it. Uninstalling and reinstalling will work. But, then I'll lose my custom filters.
