User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2683.0 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
I got the email attached
Actual results:
When I connected to the IMAP server to see my emails, it will disconnect. When I place the attached email in any folder, the server will disconnect when I click on that folder
Expected results:
No content should break the connection with the server (in my humble opinion).

What do you mean by "disconnect"??
And does the same thing happen in version 52?

Hello, Wayne.
Sorry for my slow response.
What was happening here was that a malformed email was breaking the client.
Disconnect means the IMAP server was actually dropping the connection.
I think I still have the email that was causing the client to break.
I will attach it to the ticket.

Hello Wayne,
I emptied my Inbox, copied the bad email to my Inbox using the OS command line.
T got the same error in version 52 which I got in version 45.
I am attaching a screen shot.
Regards,
++Felipe

The message literally reads "server ... has disconnected", not that Thunderbird lost the connection.
I'm not sure what to make of that.
