Mozilla 2002030708 (and all before). Linux-i686 This bank site uses Java applet to authenticate users. It works in NS4.x, but not in mozilla. Steps to reproduce: 1. Visit http://e-bank.bph.pl 2. Click "Wejdz" ("Enter") in menu on the left. 3. New page loads 4. Java window opens asking you to grant permissions for the applet. 5. Grant them (either "grant this session only" or "grant always"). 6. "Applet BPHOnline started" appears in the status line... 7. ...and nothing more. In step 7, the applet window asking for user ID should open, followed by window asking for password.

JRE version ? (If not Jre1.4, can you try it with 1.4 ?)

The results are identical with JDK 1.3.1 and 1.4.0.

Joe, could you please evaluate this bug? I don't know if the problem is with Java, Mozilla or the page. I could try to evangelize the bank people if the issue is with the page, but I'd have to know for sure.

Some more things: 1. The layout of the site changed a bit: instead of "Wejdz" you now have to click "Wejscie". URL changed also, updating accordingly. 2. On the page where the applet is supposed to open, you can click "reload" several times and then it eventually opens. 3. Could someone PLEASE take a look at this bug? It's been here for over half a year, has severity equal to major and "ecommerce" keyword and the guy responsible won't even _evaluate_ it to see if it's a problem with Mozilla or the bank. QA, where are you?!
I saw exception from my java console. Seems that's a bug of that applet that is using old security model. ================================================================ Server Name : http://sunreserve.prc/servlet/ormasia_sunidentry Servlet Name : http://sunreserve.prc/servlet/ormasia_crrmi Trying to get profile object...
