[Tracking Requested - why for this release]: print fails if print via Print Preview

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1308516 +++

"An error occurred while printing." on the page if print via Print Preview.
Print directly from File > Print seems ok.

(Though, Nightly52.0a1 fails to print due to Bug 1309205 since 07-Oct-2016)

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new profile
2. Open https://gitlab.com/gnutls/gnutls/
3. Open Print Preview
4. Click on [Print...]
5. Select "Print to file" and check pdf
6. Input file name and Click on [Print]

Actual results:
An error occurred while printing. error message box
created empty file (PDF or PS)

Expected results:
No error and properly created pdf.

Bob, can you help with this bug ? Does it sound like a duplicate of an existing issue? Thanks.

This was created from bug 1308516 so I guess that is related.

Alice does the test case page from bug 1308516 comment 12 reproduce this bug as well?

Seems like quite an old regression and if it is similar to bug 1308516, it looks like a subtle layout or font issue, so I'm not sure I'm the best person to look into it.

About the test case of bug 1308516 comment 12,
Same error via Print preview. And direct print(File > Print) also error.

The root cause seems to be same.
