Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 SeaMonkey/2.40 Build ID: 20160120202951 Steps to reproduce: I set-up my IMAP folders to be synchronized for off-line use, synchronized, then went off-line. Opend an email in the main IMAP inbox, this email had an attachment, right-clicked the attachment : the options to delete or detach the attachment are greyed out Actual results: I was not able to delete the attachment from the email during off-line reading. Expected results: I should have been able to delete the attachment and this actions should then be synched back to the IMAP server during the next on-line synchronization. I have set mail.server.default.mime_parts_on_demand to false as suggested here : http://kb.mozillazine.org/Offline_folders but this did not change the observation. Perhaps it is normal that one cannot delete an attachment when off-line ? I have searched in different news groups etc and have found no information on this.
I have switched to Thunderbird V45.4.0, where the same problem exists. As the Seamonkey mail is based on Thunderbird, I have changed the product of this bug to Thunderbird.
