(The page uses media queries to decide whether to show it.) 2. Ctrl+F to find-in-page 3. Type "align" 4. Scroll either the page or the sidebar. (using mouse or keyboard) ACTUAL RESULTS: The highlighted results in the Table Of Contents sidebar jitter / "recoil" on each scroll. EXPECTED RESULTS: No such jitter/recoil.

For the record, I'm using Nightly 52.0a1 (2016-10-12) (64-bit), and I'm using a fresh browser profile. I initially assumed this must be dependent on e10s, layers acceleration, and/or APZ (async-pan-and-zoom). But to my surprise, I still see this (and it's just as bad) even if I disable all of those features. (specifically -- I disabled e10s via Nightly preferences page; layers acceleration via layers.acceleration.disabled = true; APZ via layers.async-pan-zoom.enabled = false. And with those tweaks, I still see the bug.)
Too late for firefox 52, mass-wontfix.
