Today I restarted for an update (was on the nightly from October 12th, now running the nightly from October 13th). After I restarted, all of my browser history was gone. My bookmarks and passwords are still there, however.
Possibly of note, I just transferred this profile to a new laptop yesterday. Today I fired up the same profile on my old laptop for a few minutes.

Looks like firefox thinks my places.sqlite is corrupted. I tried restoring the .corrupt file, which didn't work (even though the sqlite command line can still read). Curiously, my old laptop works fine with exactly the same places.sqlite. It is still running the Aurora from the 11th.

I ended up copying the "corrupt" one back in this morning (after updating to today's build), and it seemed to be just fine with it.

it's possible there is a latent corruption that may bite you in the future, I'd suggest to try to generate a new db regardless, if possible.

If you want to share your corrupt file you can reach me by private mail. In general if there was a corruption we can't handle it anyway. We already have a bug filed for an history backup, but not ETA.
Otherwise unfortunately there isn't much I can do and this may end up being incomplete.

I'm marking this as incomplete for now, but if you find a way to reliably reproduce the problem by following some steps or procedure, I really want to look into it.
