Help developers get better at their jobs by giving them access to the most current information that helps them incrementally develop skills.
Promote best practices of web development, including cross-browser testing and clean code.
Build awareness of the Mozilla Developer Network as a free and readily available developer resource.
Create brand association between Mozilla and developer advocacy / interests. Be opinionated.
Expose developers to the breadth of Mozilla’s innovation and impact on the web.

Nope! Our plan is the email program!
Well, I guess currently we also have MDN on Twitter and Facebook, but it's not the same.

Not having a direct connection via email

We will have a direct way to communicate with developers in their inboxes!

Email subscribers: > 150,000
Email open rate: > 20%

Unsubscribe rate: < 1%*
*We will be re-activating a list of 75,000, the first few publications may have lower engagement and higher unsubscribes than the benchmark goals above.

Thanks, Danielle! We'll use this bug to track our convos around launch.
Brian from Legal will need to review the new signup form language before it goes live. Let me know when the copy in the gdoc is ready for his review.
When do you expect draft content ready for us to review for the transition/re-engagement email?

We have reused the copy from the existing sign-up forms and it's all ready for review! Woot!

We just had our content meeting this morning and drafted the pioneer newsletter, so soon. Looming. I was hoping for last week, but looks like things are taking longer than I had hoped. We have an open task for it here: https://tree.taiga.io/project/lmn0p-dev-marketing-durable-team/task/733
I hope today. At the latest, I hope tomorrow. There's a lot of hope involved in writing it, since there are many people's input needed. :)
