Details
(vaguely similar to 70522 but different) some unix IMAP servers let folders contain only messages OR other folders. If you have such a server, you cannot (using mozilla) delete a folder on the server. EVEN IF YOU HAVE THE ACCOUNT SETTINGS TO IMMEDIATELY DELETE MESSAGES RATHER THAN MOVING HEM TO THE TRASH, mozilla attempts to move the deleted folder to the trash. Since the trash is a messages-only type folder, it fails, and you're stuck.

I've reproduced this using nightly build 2002031608 on Windows XP and the Rockliffe MailSite 4.5.6 IMAP server. If someone wants an IMAP account to test with, I'd be more than happy to oblige.

With this server: * OK idiom IMAP4rev1 v11.241 server ready I get this message attempting to delete a folder: RENAMED failed: Can't create mailbox node ...../Trash/: File exists. I must manage folders by loging into the remote unix shell.
