SS Loading.jpg

Environment:
Device: Huawei Honor (Android 5.1.1);
Build: Nightly 52.0a1 (2016-10-19);

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Fennec;
2. Go to http://www.ebay.com/ and select a category that has more than one page (e.g: Women's clothing);
3. Turn the device on landscape mode, scroll down the page and click on next page arrow.

Expected result:
Loading throbber is displayed on the middle of the screen.

Actual result:
Loading throbber is displayed on the down side of the screen.

Notes:
On portrait mode it doesn't happen.
It also happens when going to previous page.
Please check the screenshot attached.
This doesn't look like a browser bug. The spinner shown is positioned there by the website. In Chrome the website gives different content where prev/next page navigation actually loads a new page and doesn't show the spinner at all, so we can't really compare the behavior there.
Component: Graphics, Panning and Zooming → Mobile
Product: Firefox for Android → Tech Evangelism
Version: 52 Branch → Firefox 52
The spinner here is doing what it's being asked to do, AFAICT:

.tbrDivCat {
    display: none;
    position: fixed;
    top: 250px;
    left: 45%;
    z-index: 7;
}

Seems like they just haven't tested this version of the site in landscape mode. So I'm inclined to close this bug as invalid.

Note that if we spoof as Chrome, that version of the site appears to work as expected. So maybe we can just ask for that one instead? Dees, a topic for your meeting eith eBay?

Sure thing. Although you could like already raise via or DL. All of their lead devs are connected there.

If you prefer we can go that route, just wanted to highlight it with your upcoming meeting. Adam would you mind sending a message to the ebay ML?

Yep, I will indeed.

Different version

I wanted to reproduce this issue before sending an email off, but I'm not able to. Tested in Firefox 52 for Android on my device and emulator. Spoofing as Chrome doesn't give different content. Maybe this is fixed?

It's possible they're rolling out a new design -- I see the new design now (after clearing my profile).
