Tables that render fine in IE (5, 5.5, 6.0) and Netscape (4.x) have extra space
between the cells when rendered in Mozilla. I'm running Windows 98 (SE) and
this has been an issue for the last several versions/milestones.
Please see attachment(s).

Reporter, could you try this on a Mozilla nightly build ?
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest-trunk/
I can't reproduce under OS X using the March 14th build (2002-03-14-08). Maybe
only windows issue.

I downloaded and installed Build 2002031503 for Windows. (98 2nd ed.)
Same problem, no change.
I then downloaded and installed the same build on another box, also running
Win98. The problem was gone.
Knowing that I have my fonts set a little different than the masses, I looked at
the settings on the new box. It was set to "small fonts" and things looked right.
My box is set for "Other" with a size of 110dpi (114% of normal).
I switched the default font size on the new box:
Right-Click on the desktop
Properties
Settings tab
Advanced
to the same thing as my own box and the problem appeared.
So, this problem is related to the default font settings in Windows, even though
this test page has no text/fonts on it.
Hope this additional info is helpful.

Is this still an issue now that we force t2p to be an integer?

reporter (Ron), can you still reproduce this bug with a recent build?

No I cannot.
I used Windows 98 (2nd edition) and Mozilla v1.5 to try and duplicate.
The problem seems to be fixed. Thank you.
