Adjust is inadequate for the things that we need to track (activations that don't use adjust URLs, and our telemetry is simply not up to what we need (tracking campaigns and activations). We should integrate the Google Analytics SDK so that we can get the tracking we need. I know this has been discussed in the past, but I would like to revisit. We're simply losing too much data by choosing not to use the right tool for the job, in this case the Google Analytics SDK. The use case is: Distributions coming in via the Google play store. Distributions on devices where the referrer intent is sent manually. In both these cases, we are unable to track campaigns/activations with adjust.
Mike Han is also evaluating some SDKs currently; because marketing also has some requirements that we can't fulfill with our current tools.

Sebastian, The SDKs that I am evaluating is not for tracking purposes - its for mobile notifications and A/B testing. Is there an ask for me here?

So FYI, we finally figured out how to do distributions through the google play that track via Adjust. You'll see a new tracker called "mozilla" that's used for these (and only these). We can do Adjust URLs like : https://app.adjust.com/xodfft?campaign=distribution&adgroup=qwant We can also add &creative=foo on the end so our partners can run campaigns. I'm trying to get the second point addressed via adjust.
