Backslash some quotes for Emacs font-lock, implement some more friendliness.
this should cope with generalizations better, viz: * @imajes|wk gives oopsbot a botcookie * @imajes|wk waits * @imajes|wk gives oopsbot a botsnack <oopsbot> :) * @imajes|wk gives oopsbot a hot date <@imajes|wk> no cheating Hixie {tumbleweed passing by, etc} it should respond to /me gives oopsbot .... at worst, it should just say thankyou, at best, it would query a dictionary of +ves and -ves, and come up with some kind of witty retort.

Well, at the moment it's the second one. I'll add a few more. It can't be the first. It would be too impersonal, IMHO.

Adds those strings. Any other ideas?

I still think this should be handled via a reaction when: someone gives bot something and something should be from a dictionary list. these strings are messy, imho. James

I will open a new bug for the "someone gives somebot a something" generalization, but I will verify this as fixed since the functionality this bugs intended works.

I have filed Bug 508846 for the "someone gives somebot a something" statement.
