Question for product/UX: How is delete different from dismiss (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1314358)?

If I look at the Desktop implementation and labeling, it says "Dismiss" "Delete from History" so I assume Dismiss is removing it from the New tab view but not from your history. I hope that helps.

Clarifying bug description: history items in the History panel have supported deletion for a very long time.
