User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 Build ID: 20161019084923 Steps to reproduce: 1. I have IMAP folders: INBOX > confluence, INBOX > jenkins (they're created as subfolders in a webmail interface of a mail provider), and they were afterwards created by TB automatically on my machine. 2. I open a folder (INBOX > confluence), click on "Date" column header. Messages are sorted "recent first" 3. Close TB 4. Open TB and open the folder in question (INBOX > confluence) Actual results: Messages are sorted "recent last" Expected results: Messages are sorted "recent first"
I am using Thunderbird 45.4.0 on Windows 10. As far as I can tell, the problem appears only with IMAP folders that are subfolder of Inbox, created automatically by TB. Also, I notice that on every TB launch, a second set of subfolders briefly appears inside Inbox folder, called "INBOX|confluence" and "INBOX|jenkins", they are gone within 1-2 seconds.
62mkv, Do you still see this issue? Idon't see any potential matches to this issue.

Hi I'm going to publish a "Twenty-second Murphy law of bug reporting", which says: No later than 3 months after you've left the job/project where the question was relevant and critical for you, that you receive a letter from the support team asking you to reproduce the issue or whether it's still relevant :)) Unfortunately, it's 4 months that I am not using that mailbox anymore, the only one I have in TB these days is POP3. Thanks for your attention! PS: but 4 months ago it was as hot as Kim Kardashian (for me, at least)!
