Bentley VW repair manual on CD gives a "302 Moved temporarily" error. This works in Netscape 4.7x and IE 5.5. The initial start page is: http://127.0.0.1:8080/ESIS?action=Home&type=repair Mozilla gives a 302 error. IE 5.5 lists the manual index. If I click on a link in the index in IE and then copy the link to Mozilla. Mozilla is able to display all the manual data for that link and appears to navigate normally. Mozilla is incapable of displaying the index however. The CD is accessed through a helper application/localhost. Initial page source: <html> <head> <meta http-equiv=pragma content=no-cache> <meta http-equiv=cache-control content=no-cache> <meta http-equiv=expires content=-1> <meta http-equiv=expiresabsolute content=-1> <title>Volkswagen Official Factory Repair Manual</title> </head> <frameset rows="55,*" border=0 marginheight=0 marginwidth=0> <frame name="types" marginheight=0 marginwidth=0 scrolling=no src="http://127.0.0.1:8080/TabManager?type=repair"> <frame name="view" src="http://127.0.0.1:8080/Display?action=Home&type=repair"> </frameset> </html>

Today I tried http://127.0.0.1:8080/ESIS?action=Home&type=repair with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530, Opera 6, IE6, NN4.73 Same result with all browsers: No connection to the server is possible
Can you see the proxy server/helper application Jrew.exe running in the task manager? The application worked for me with Netscape 4.x and works currently with IE5.5
The error is still present with build ID: 2002070508

robert: does this problem still exist w/ mozilla 1.2.1 or mozilla 1.3 beta? if so, could you please capture a mozilla HTTP log of the problem? here's how: 0- make sure mozilla is not running (exit quick launch) 1- open a DOS prompt and type: C:\> set NSPR_LOG_MODULES=nsHttp:5 C:\> set NSPR_LOG_FILE=C:\log.txt C:\> cd \path\to\mozilla C:\path\to\mozilla> .\mozilla.exe 2- reproduce the problem once mozilla comes up 3- exit mozilla finally, just upload c:\log.txt to this bug report. thx!
