I would like to host https://charts.mozilla.org (a purely static site) on Amazon S3.
http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/dev/WebsiteHosting.html
I have my bucket ready
https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/charts.mozilla.org/index.html
I beleive DNS must point to
http://charts.mozilla.org.s3-website-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/
Unfortunately, I do not know what's involved with getting it to work with SSL. I guess a cert is required for the domain?
Thank you!
See bug 1226653 for when we did not care about HTTPS.

We can switch DNS and get you a cert -- it's early here but I'm thinking we could get a free AWS ACM cert possibly.

Do you need to coordinate switching this at a particular time?

Timing is not an issue, the site contents are no longer relevant, and hardly used. When this is done, we will update the content.

DNS has been switched to your S3 bucket. Is this in your own AWS account? I believe you can setup CloudFront and put a free AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) cert in there to enable SSL for your site.

The account that owns the buckets is just one of many that belongs to my team, Engineering Productivity. I had hoped your team could use your ACM, because we are all one giant Mozilla account, yes?
If not, then I will muddle my way through it, or find a team member that knows what they are doing

To my knowledge no, we have no overarching Mozilla account, nice as that would be. I don't believe I have any access to your account.
