131823 - version 0.9.9 cannot access IMAP Netscape Messaging Server 4

It appears that version 0.9.9 of mozilla has a problem accessing Netscape 
Messaging Server 4 in IMAP mode. Version 0.9.8 worked fine. 

Here is the first line from the working IMAP log from 0.9.8 (### represents 
mail server):
1024[233d4a0]: ###:NA:CreateNewLineFromSocket: * OK ### IMAP4 service (Netscape 
Messaging Server 4.15 Patch 7 (built Sep 11 2001))

Here is the first line from the non-working 0.9.9:

Do you use a proxy server and you IMAP server is not in the "no proxies" list ?

Just added the mail server to the no-proxy list and access now works. Thanks.
It's strange that 0.9.8 worked without the no-proxy list and 0.9.9 did not.

we added SOCKS Mailnews support between 0.9.8 and 0.9.9....
