Actual results:

On mouseover on links (anchor tags), the value(href) doesn't show on status bar.


Expected results:

On mouseover on links (anchor tags), the value(href) should show on status bar.

WFM with FF53.

Could you test with a fresh profile, please.

NB: Nightly is FF53 now. Aurora (DE) is still FF51. If you are using Nightly, update it to the daily build.

I'm using Developer edition (v.520a2), also I just re-install Firefox and before installing deleted all browser data (inc. profile)

Hi Mehdi. Can you provide a link or a simplified test case?

The attached image represents the action of hovering a link that has an anchor. Is this what are you describing in comment 0?

I have tested this on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 with latest Firefox Dev v52.0a2 (Build ID: 20161121004022) and latest Nightly (Build ID: 20161121030224) and could not reproduce it. I have used these links for testing: http://www.tagindex.net/html/link/anchor_example1s.html and http://www.hypergurl.com/anchors.html .
